1 of our FAVORITE MOMENTS: Playing baseball with our rolled up tinfoil (from our dinners) ball & a stick on a snow field by our camp the first night on Mtn. Timp.
Most Challenging Physical Event: Hiking Mtn. Timp with a back pack.
Most Humbling Experience: Relying upon the Lord! Having faith that He has a purpose for Nate leaving the earth, and a purpose for us left here to mourn his death. And using the atonement as we continue to grieve his loss for a better part of 7 months this year. Families CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER!
Dumbest Decision: We upgraded our Imac from Tiger to snow leopard on a whim and thought we had backed up all important info. HMMM! Come to find out, we only backed up the program not the information. GRRR! Lost all of 2010 & 2011 pics, music, docs, and all other important info. But we recovered nicely! Still Love our MAC!
MOST surprising decision: At the last minute deciding to go to Lake Powell with the Brian's in June and leave Steve at home for work and to deal with computer issues! Thank you Becky and Penny for allowing the Williams & Paul Girls to join your fun!
Big Ben had an awesome camera that would do cool effects like this and took slo-mo video of our ski runs! Nothing but AWESOME!
WORST MOMENT EVER: Realizing that Nate wasn't going to recover from another surgery and trying to face the reality of his death.
Best Restaurant Experience:Corky's BBQ in Memphis with Bret & BreeAnn! And Thai restaurant in Reno with Rasmussen's!
Year 2011 was the 1st time Ash and I have tried the Molten Lava cake at Chilli's. Oh YUM!
Funnest Vacation with Friends: Goblin Valley in April with the Fairchild's!
Favorite TV Series: We don't have TV, but we have netflix, and we love Psych!
Favorite Book: Jen= THE HELP Ash= FINALLY Steve= Mountaineering BookBiggest Purchase: My eye surgery in April! THANK YOU STEVE! I love the magic of eye sight! No more glasses and contacts to fuss with!
Favorite Family Vacation: Kauai in October 2011
Loved eating breakfast on the beach every morning to watch the sunrise.
Complete peace and quiet except the sound of the waves. We also loved kayaking & snorkeling!
Favorite Pictures: Every year at Lake Powell in July; Joel thinks it's SO FUNNY to pop in to one of our family pictures. And we all laugh EVERY TIME!
This was taken up in Logan, Ut. But I wonder if it would do well in our yard? HMM?
BEST GIFT OF 2011: All of the AMAZINGLY generous people who gave time, gifts and money to help out with an unexpected passing of NATHAN.We are HOPEFUL for a great 2012! Sending Hugs & Kisses to you all wishing you a GREAT NEW YEAR!
